They've put my £20 for 20meg back up to £37 now. :( Phoned them and they didn't seem to want to budge. I'm now looking for alternatives. Any suggestions would be great?

It's a shame as i've been with them six years. I will try again tomorrow and hope i get someone a little more willing to keep me as a customer..but we'll see.

But its a 12 month contract so if it gets bad towards the end you will have to pay the rest of your contract out.

Im planning to join bethere.co.uk and their speeds are potentially more than virgin cable at 24mps. But this depends if yor line can get this.

Theres always adsl24 which is prpbably the best 8 meg isp right now as they are highly rated for their customer support and they have good plans aswell. They have a one month contract so if you dont like you can get out fast.

I've gone from Virgin to Sky Max, I'll probably only get between 5 and 8, but the price is pretty attractive and I'm not getting much above 10 on Virgin 20mb most of the time anyway.

Yes, find a potential alternative first, then as you can then confidently say that you will be leaving if they don't 'do better dealings than your current dealings'
