Hi,
I am looking for a bit of advice for a friend who is having some beef with the above equipment.
Basically up until 3 or 4 weeks ago my friend had BT Broadband installed, his computer upstairs was connected to this via a Max Value 85Mbps homeplug.
Since then he has had Virgin BB installed, now the internet is fine on the PC downstairs and he is getting decent enough speeds upstairs via the homeplug (about 5Mb) but he is having terrible problems gaming.
Whilst gaming he is suffering terribly from lag and disconnections, my initial thoughts were that the homeplug was the problem, but i would like other opinions on this before we try other things and start throwing money at it.
Some Technical details for the home plug system.
