Virgin Cancellation...

I want to cancel my virgin internet because i have moved out of my old house but they charging me half a years cancellation fee.

I am so outraged at this fee, i would have transfered it to my new house but it isnt in a cable area.

Apart from the fact i think this is insane what is stopping me from just cancelling my direct debit with my bank! I mean what can they do

So you signed an agreement to have their services for the next 12 months and now you want to renege on your word without any penalty.

Aint gonna happen.

How long were you with them for before you moved? I'm guessing..about half a year of your year contract?

I'm not sure there's much you can do...

How about selling the remainder of you contract to the new owners of the house

When I moved out of my house last year I just transferred the account to my mate who still lived there

so as above, see if the new owners want it?
