We're currently on a standard BT phone line with Nildram as an ISP. However we are looking to change to Virgin Media. Not sure if anyone will be able to answer this, but we also have an ADT alarm in the house connected to the phone line. Does anyone know (or have) if virgin media cable will work with an ADT alarm monitoring system?

Hey, There's not much information online regarding your question. But, ADT alarms have been out for some time, so i am sure they have support for virgin cables, and therefore, should work if you have a virgin cable setup. However, your best bet, is to contact Virgin and personally ask them.

Most alarm systems will work on a Virgin phone line. You'll need to check with ADT that your alarm is not using BT's RedCare services as this is BT only service. However RedCare generally is used for businesses.

This.

As above, if it's just using dial-back the virgin line will be ok. Redcare is the most popular business option, and is a BT only service.
