Not sure if this is the place to ask but after some advise

I'm on VM with the new tivo box and have the VM app on my iPhone

If I was to buy a connector for iPhone to HDMI would I be able to watch the app content on a TV?

This isn't a great deal of help but I've got a NVIDIA Shield and both Sky and Virgin Apps will not work as it's connected via HDMI directly to a TV (no screen). However, I have a HTPC that connects to a HDTV via HDMI and Virgin Anywhere works fine on it...I know Virgin don't support Chrome to stop people using Chromecast to a TV so I'd guess it won't work...but its only a guess...
