Hey all, my current "NTL home 120" modem keeps rebooting so Virgin have had a look on their system and have said the modem appears to be at fault as it's a very old model and the line appears to be okay at their end. The guy said he will send me a new modem out in the post within 4 working days. I was just wondering what is the latest modem they are sending out? I can't seem to find any info on what time of modem it is? Thanks!

Got virgin installed the other day and they gave us a Netgear. cant remember the model number though.
The brand new tv box they also installed broke 35minutes after the guy left (Y) so theyre coming to reinstall another box next week, after 5 calls to customer service within 2 hours of getting virgin.
im really impressed with the service so far...not.

It may vary by region but when I had my old Surfboard 4100 modem swapped out for the 20mbit upgrade, they gave me a Scientific Atlanta EPC2100. Apparently those that had them before (older model?) were moaning a bit but this one seems fine.

VM fella gave me a Ambit 256 the other day when they upgraded me to 20meg and installed V+
