Upstream congestion, usually that means they sold to too many customers locally on your node. Fix can often be several months or even years away.

However you have noise on your upstream channels which reduces the effective capacity (they should be QAM64). So if they fix that then it might ease off a bit, but with that graph, I would be moaning, and looking at competitors.

Here is mine, what a good node looks like.

Problem is there is no competition currently, Toob have done this road for FTTP, but the service isn't live until the summer before I can order the 915/913 service.

Edit*

here is what the past week looks like, it looks like it massively escalated from Tuesday onwards:

Competition with VM you mean? Openreach and City Fibre offer 1Gig, just like VM, but superior because it's FTTP

Competition in this area, the only ISP offering anything above 60Mbps is VM. Toob are the only FTTP who are due to roll out in the summer. No other ISP can offer anything above 60Mbps.

Just had a call from VM sales? Saying my contract change is due and wanted to know if I wanted to talk over my options? I was about to have dinner and asked her to email me, I did state that I wasn’t happy about the £7 per months price increase but the lady commented that the price increase wouldn’t impact me?

Community fibre should go live in the next couple of weeks for me hopefully if things go to plan. Then it will be bye bye virgin.
