virgin media email problem

I swore I would never post in this section again but I HATE to see a peep stuck.

Hi guys
As you may be aware, we're having some service problems right now that
are affecting multiple services, including:
* The status page (viewing it and the ability to update it) along with
some other parts of the website such as selfcare
* Text news server
* E-mail (including Webmail) for those with blueyonder e-mail
addresses
* Webspace for those on xTW (ex-Telewest Network)
* Some broadband access problems for those in the North West (xTW
customers only)
* Some impact on TV for xTW customers
The problems are also affecting the technical support guys, who can't
currently post to newsgroups.
Our teams are working their socks off to fix these at the moment and
to restore service as quickly as possible and the good news is that
these services are now starting to come back online.

1st time today (since I 1st tried at 12pm anyhow).
Mine came back on late this afternoon and guess what....no mail on server! I know I received mail today as I bought something on the bay and paypal mail comes through at the speed of light.
I sent them a webnote but I'm sure it will end up in the recycle bin.

I work for virgin media , they had major problems today with there icoms system. all cable tv and telephone services were affected between 11am and 1.30 pm, they are still having problems with some services. not sure what exactly happened but i beleive it was national.....
not sure about anyone else?, but im not receiving any emails again it seems its a national problem with ppl with a blueyonder address
Edit: strange when i send mail to myself i am now recieving ok,but i have ordered a few things from OCUK today i havent had any confirmation emails back and they are very prompt always something is still wrong maybe the emails im expecting have been lost for good
