Virgin Media Internet Issues (N.Ire Area)

Is anyone currently having any issues in the Belfast area on Virgin Media.

loss of internet here and there and browsing takes forever, using open dns seems to solve it to an extent but its still insanely slowwwww

Can't even make it on to the virgin media status page, it's taken me 10 minutes to get to the forums to make this post!

According the VM page there are no issues in NI. Have you tried resetting all your kit?

We used to have a terrible connection with them, turned out to be the cable running from the street to our living room so they just replaced it, didnt make too much mess in the front garden either.

Mine was playing up all last week, kept cutting off. Turned out it was a dodgy wire between the modem and the wall socket
