anyone else in Nottingham who can reassure me that its not just my modem thats up and down like a YoYo? The cable light keeps going off anfor about 30 mins then coming back on

whats going on???!!!!

luckily, in the 5 years i've been a customer to ntl/virgin (4 different addresses) I've only one problem, lightening. and as far as i'm concerned, it did strike in the same place twice -my bloomin modem
