Virgin media painfully slow?

pages are taking ages to load.. it seems as slow as dialup sometimes, we are only on 4mb (got it downgraded) but it seems awfully slow for this speed

anybody else experiencing problems? since yesterday and today here, we got a replacement modem because the other one was an ancient terayon we had put in 6-7 years ago.. seems like since we have had it its going slow as hell

or is it Virgin's side?

Fine here, pulling a solid 2400KB/s from newsgroups.

Do the usual, check your modem configuration, try some sustained transfers rather than just web browsing (in case it's a DNS problem) etc.

I live in neath-west glamorgan and its realy slow upto 12pm, back to full speed then.

If this keeps up gonna send a van load of rock hard sheep around to Bransons house to beat him up

Ps its all i can do is to browse the web until 12
