Virgin Media Problem

Hey,

Can anyone tell me why my 20mb internet is constantly maxing out at 5mbs recently? It's like this all the time, in peak and in non-peak time. This has only been like this since a couple of weeks ago.

Is this VM's new capping policy or something?

i had the same problem and i can tell you its nothing to do
with how much you download!! its once your area is completed

3:45pm the internet will be 5mb
your browsing will become like dial up china

i ditched virgin because of it
mr branson should be sued for this crap

It's happening during non-peak time so why does that matter?

At the moment I'm downloading literally nothing because I can't be assed to wait.

i highly doubt the download caps are on "an area" basis!
