Virgin Media Super Hub Replacement

I am getting VM installed tomorrow and do not want to be using the Superhub so im going to use it as a modem only and attach a good router

Im after one with good range (Old brick house), good features and doesnt break the bank

Preferably one i can pick up asap also

Please point me in right direction

Got it installed this morn, Super speedy compared to sky

Superhub into homeplugs is working well

I use a Belkin N1 Vision as a second router to my super hub. Works well and I get 30MB from that router to my PC.

I want wireless in my bed room and some wired connections to my iMac & Xbox.

The Super hub is downstairs and wireless performance is poor in my room.

oh right ..so if you wanted to use your own router and have the superhub as a modem only would the VM engineer set this all up for you or do they prefer to use the VM Superhub supplied ??

No idea. My guess is that they would set it up with the superhub and you would have to change it. I have both of them as wireless routers.

Yes it is good for both. My brothers netbook gets 30MB in his room.
