I'm with Virgin Media (aka, the spawn of the devil). and have been having problems all day trying to access some MS sites and sign into Live Messenger. Can't even make payments via Paypal.

A quick Google reveals I am not alone with these problems.

Anybody else having problems with this tragic excuse for an ISP?

It's nothing to do with Virgin read the network section

Hotmail has been down all day due to the move over to OUTLOOK which i didn't want nor need. It was a global wide issue and many many people were affected, not all but many were.

It's now working, if it doesn't keep hammering in your password.

**** microsoft and **** windows 8

All working here.
Live/outlook & skydrive is working fine.

As i said it was a global issue but not everyone was affected, you were lucky

LOL, are you 12? Suprised you didn't get a "and **** Microsoft's mom" in there as well for good measure :D

**Edit** It occurs to me that the missing words could be "love", in which case the above still works ;)

Post in consoles as well saying Live is unavailable to some Virgin users.

XBOX LIVE Service
Users may experience difficulties with the following services:

A subset of Virgin Media ISP users will have intermittent issues connecting to Xbox LIVE.

If you're having issues connecting to Xbox LIVE and are using the Virgin Media ISP, thank you for being patient and sticking with us while we work out the problem. Rest assured we are still working hard alongside Virgin Media to fix it as quickly as we can. We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.

I coudn't access any online banking, Paypal or any Microsoft website, so it seems the issue was more than just Microsoft.
