OK, i would assume there are a fair amount of VM customers in here - so can i ask a quick question, before i get on the blower to them for a complaint:

I have the XL TV package in with my Broadband and Phone - and Setanta Sports comes free within that.

However, NASN is unsubscribed - is that correct? I would have thought that as a Setanta Channel this should be free to me?

Do any other XL customers get NASN free? Do you pay for the channel (if so how much)? and do any other TV packages offer this channel?

Thanks for any info

I believe it's £10 a month for NASN, I was hoping that it would come with Setanta (also on XL) but it never happened. There were some rumours on various VM message boards a few months ago that including NASN was being discussed since it's buyout by ESPN but i don't know if it's actually happening.

Virgin are a pile of <insert swear word here>.

We have the basic TV service, so fair enough all the premium channels aren't available and we receive the basic freeview channels and a couple of virgin extras right?

Wrong.. E4 is available but E4+1 isn't on Virgin, yet it is on freeview!! To watch E4+1 we have to swap to the built in digital tuner of my TV, how stupid is that?

You sure? We are on the basic service and we get +1 e4?

I'm 100%, unless it's something specific to our area only.. If you're at home and able now could you check this? If thats the case i'm going to give virgin a call

Just checked, we have it. I cant find a bill though so cant say which 'level' we are on, its definately one of the smallest though - something around £6.99 a month?

We cant get mtv1 +1 though.
