virgin media

hi i just orderd the virgin package.ie the v+box . i asked the person on the phone about having another set top box in another room.he said "dont pay 10 pounds a month for it.and there is a way round it" .So if thats the case what do i need to set it up.If anybody else has done this here could u help me in picking what i will need.thanks..

I guess he means running an rf lead from the stb to the tv elsewhere in the house.

not really sure but i guess i will need another box but hopefully someone here can put me in the right direction

If you want to watch separate channels on each box then I'm not aware of any other way of doing it (well, apart from using illegal methods that can't be discussed here and are so fiddly in any case that they're an inconvenience).
