Virgin Media

They charge me a random amount every month. They actually rang me back today as I complained about this. They said my price won't change for 3 months and game me £10 credit.

I'm being (or should be) charged £28 a month for 100mb and weekend calls.
 
I was with them for 9 years too for 50mb service, over the years it crept up but so did the speed, which is currently 78 ish mb.

Just cancelled with them as moving to a non cabled area which gets 1.7mb on adsl!
 
I was paying £46 (inc handling fee, non DD setup due to circumstances at the time) I called them up last week to tell them I have seen a better price for internet etc. They looked into my account on told me I have not called them for over 5 years regarding offers, billing etc. He told me I was on on old contract which was rolling. After a chat he said he could give me 100mb for £32 for 6 months then £36 iirc for the following 6 months then told me to call back after 12 months to sort it out again. I have been with Virgin since day one when it was Cable and Wireless, NTL and I think there was one more before C&W so all in all I have been with cable for over 20 years give or take.

Edit: I am getting pretty much download speeds of 14-16 MBs constantly all day every day.
 
Similar issue to me. Paying £26 for 150mb bb only and between price rise and losing my loyalty discount it had gone up to £38 recently. Cancelled and waited on the phone call. Three days later I'm back down to a more acceptable £27.
 
I am being put through to a manager now. So I need to wait several hours for a response. Will see what happens.

For me to leave I have 5 months left and have to pay a £150 early disconnection fee (what a load of tosh).
