Virgin.Net Error 721 woes

Just moved to a new property and opted for Virgin.Net as ISP (due to not having 12 month contract).

All installed OK and works intermittently, but sometimes I get a "Error 721" code message returned when the modem hangs on "verifying username and password".

I have tried with my Alcatel PCI modem and also the black Speedtouch jobby provided by Virgin.

It doesnt happen all the time, and often if I reboot the PC a couple of times and try again, all is OK.

Any ideas how to cure this? Is it the ISP?

Yup, it's at their end. Only solution's keep chasing them about it.

Check username/password etc, but if it works intermittantly, then it should be ok.
