Virgin overclock Preparation....................

Hi all,

I'm just waiting for delivery for new MB - ASUS P5N-E SLi (thats not locked

)

iv'e got a Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz to put on it, 4gb RAM etc etc.
I've got a Tuniq Tower to go on as well as a Thermalright HR-05 IFX SLI Northbridge CH. I'm not going to bother doing any lapping just yet but any tips/links on fitting the above coolers and also any tip/links for general overclocking figures for the above board/CPU set up?

All info/tip gratefully received,

little steps, dont make big changes, Are you using the G0 stepping?

The Q6600 has stepping (versions if you like) the latter ones are called GO's and early ones are called B3) the GO runs far cooler so can clock further

About below memory, should be a heatsink on it (load of copper or alui)

If it is, its that think that says asus on it (well its under that, thats the heatsink)
