Virgin router rebooting itself?

I'm on Virgin 50mb broadband and have the Netgear wrn2000 router, which sits on my desk.

Just noticed my internet not working and saw that the router had rebooted itself, literally powered off and on again.. isnt that a bit strange?

If this happens a lot I would post on the VMs newsgroup and they will sort it out for you as you may need a new one.

its the first time I've seen it do that, but then again I'm not always watching it. Although some morning I have no internet and gave to reboot it, never had this problem when I was on 10mb...

I will keep my beady eye on it from now on

Take a look at the log file and see if there was a lot of disconnections or other errors on the modem and router.

my bt sometimes reboot itself
