Anyone here with the above mentioned box? Just got one for upstairs and have had to remove it and box it back up!
Firstly it has a very small fan that sound very similar to a hairdryer on full during normal viewing, I am exaggerating a tad but its very loud
Secondly I have a Panasonic amp which the Virgin remote turns on and off when you press channel up and going through the guide and pressing OK turns the surround mode to different levels
Any users have the same issue with a very loud fan? Looking on a few Google sites I have found a lot with the same issue, its basically unusable for a bedroom. I had a Sky HD+ box there and it was silent other than a few times the HDD would spin up.
No idea what to do with the remote?
Going to go back to Sky as the TiVo box is pants too. Very unimpressed.
