Some advice please;

I've been running a SH2 in modem mode (50mbps) connected to an Asus RTN56U Router.

I've just been upgraded to SH3 (100mbps). Is the Asus Router superior to the SH3 capabilities? Or is the SH3 just as good?

This is the router: https://www.asus.com/uk/Networking/RTN56U/

Thanks

I just installed a hub 3 today, I have an Asus ac86u so I put the hub3 in modem mode, I didn't give the HUB3 a chance to see what its like but when you read the issues the HUB3 has, I like to think using my own router will solve most that could occur.
I like the array of settings to tweak on the Asus as well, the UI on the hub 3 is basic.

I tried the SH3 for about 48 hours but it was turd in router mode. Config pages are turd, its slow as turd to change things, 5ghz band disappeared, went to modem mode with my linksys and rock solid wifi again.

(Still got the SH3 latency issues though)

I'm running a quality monitor, will post mine up tomorrow/Monday on the VM thread. I noticed my hub 3 downloaded the latest trial firmware as well.
