Virgin Stealing my Webspace

Virgin have just sent me a letter saying that they are no longer going to be offering free webspace which is something that I've relied on for the past 20 years to host files that I can link to in forum posts i.e. my forum sig and photos of items when I post in the Members Market. Instead they are offering a free year with GoDaddy after which I'll have to pay for a service I used to get for free.

Is there a reliable hassle free alternative, preferably for free?

OneDrive
etc...

Take your pick. I had the same letter and can't remember the last time I needed actual webspace, probably 2002 when I did my HND

OK so I have Google Drive and a photo uploaded how do I post it as an image in this thread? All I get is a link that I can send to people who then open it !!

I use Google Drive and OneDrive for cloud storage.

For image hosting used on forums, like signatures, I use Imgur: http://imgur.com/

Copy Image URL, and wrapped it in IMG tags. Seems to work.

I don't seem to be able to generate links from Google Drive or Photos that will work within IMG tags however it looks like I can use Flickr to share via BB Code which gives me a .jpg URL so that will work.

Click on the image untill it goes into a lightbox (Blackscreen with image in the middle) then right click and copy image link. It will be in the format above, super long and no ending .jpg etc. It just works

Imgur's easy free account, upload images, get the direct link or BB code link and pop it in here.

Also has options to resize, i think they have taken it out of the GUI but you can edit the URL to adjust the size.

Yup. You'll get a link like this:

i.imgur.com/(randomcode).jpg

But you can add l, m, s (can't remember the others) after the random code to resize it:

I usually add an l as I find that to be forum friendly.

Thanks, I'm going to use Flickr, I still can't get a link to work from Google Photo's maybe because I'm using Edge?

Next up is zip files - would someone be willing to see if they can download this it's just the BIOS tweaker for Kepler cards that I posted on a thread in the Graphics Card forum.
