I've just put in an order for VM's 30MB service and I'm bracing myself for having to use the Super Hub (until they introduce a bridge mode, at least). Every device in my house, except my own PC, is wireless G only and there's no real prospect of upgrading any/all of them.

How does the hub handle G devices? If it can broadcast in G mode, can it broadcast in N simultaneously?

Also, looking forward, should I go for the Linksys E3000 or E4200 as a router to be used with the Super Hub in bridge mode? Both seem pretty good, although the E4200 has more powerful antennas for about £20 more.

As far as i know it can't simultaneously broadcast in two modes and at the minute the wireless capabilities of this hub are woeful, even with the numerous firmware updates they have rushed out in the previous months.

For £20 more go for the Linksys E4200, have used it myself and was very pleased.

I am not a virgin customer so i have no idea, but i would use the super hub as a DHCP and WAN bridge box, and get a dual band wireless access point breakout box to handle the wireless network infrastructure. Disable the wireless network on the super hub, and voila, a reliable network :)
