just how super is this hub? Im moving back to uni on monday and virgin setup man comes tuesday morning with my hub :D just wondered if its easy to play with the settings? coz my last hub was really hard to set NAT type to open for gaming

NAT was already open for me on the 360.

I'm not too "up" on modems/routers for functionality, but to me it seems fine. Only thing I disabled was "IP Flood Detection", as it seemed to skew some download speeds for me, or else my line just hadn't settled in properly.

The super-hub isn't anything amazing, and the Wi-Fi can be quite poor. Thankfully though they have recently released the R30 version of the firmware which allows a modem only mode, meaning that if you don't like the superhub as a router you can simply make it act purely as a modem and use your own router.

Wired = perfectly fine

Wireless = Ridicucrap

I've got it on the 50mb service and my wireless speeds are half what my wired speeds are, whether I'm upstairs from it or standing next to the bloody thing. Can't wait to get my own router to use purely for wireless.

this hub is gonna be in my room at uni so i guess ill wire it up to my desktop. speed wise as long as theres 2mb from it on wireless it will satisfy my gfs needs lol
