I am currently on Virgins 120 broadband service but getting roughly 40mbps over wifi, this is on my iPhone 5 and iPad. I know the wifi is fine on the iPhone 5 as I receive over 80mbps whilst on O2 wifi around Docklands. By Ethernet the actually speed is around 100. I heard there could be issues with WPA encryption etc. and I have tried to change this but there's not much choice besides on or off.

Is there anything else I could try? Or do I have to set the Superhub into modem mode and buy new router? If so any recommendations?

Ah, me too. Just upgraded to 100MB and still limited by 20mbps on WiFi (106Mbps on LAN). Sorry to jump on your thread, but trying to avoid contacting VM!

What Superhub are you using, 1 or 2?

Superhub 1 has terrible wifi. Mine got even worse after upgrading from 60MB to 100MB. Got a Superhub 2 and its been great.

You can try. I was lucky that they sent a guy out to check the line, turned out to be fine. He then went and got a Superhub 2 and just gave it to me which was nice. I just said to him the wireless was pretty bad, which he agreed as he read all the reports about it online and from other customers.
