Virgin to Increase speed for free

VM have updated the upgrade site and it seems Brighton is going over to faster speeds this month. rebooted modem, still the old 4 meg connection though. Soon I will have hit my cap for the day much sooner!

Can someone please help me?

I was at my Aunties (Who lives 5 mins away) today putting together her new pc. Fired up Vista for the 1st time and started downloading updated drivers etc.. They where coming down at 1.2mb/s which I guess is the upgraded 10mb service (She used to be on 4mb). Yet at my pc I'm only downloading at 4mb speeds (Waiting to be upgraded to 10mb) :confused::mad:

(Yes I have reset my modem lol) Anything I can do? Or should I call VM?
 
Hated virgin media when I had them they capped about 5 pm to 1 am at about 512kb sec which is ridiculous do they still do that ?
 
VM seems to have stopped updating the timetable now, they only update it when they complete an area, not when they confirm they are doing the area next.
 
Cool. So now Virgin customers can download a lot of capped, fup'ed nothing but very, very fast. :D
