virgin users come in here

2 things i need help with

first is for virgin interent users, how is your connection today? mine is the absolute worst ever, goes very slow and then cuts out every 4/5 mins for around 30 seconds. wondering if this is just mine or a virgin problem

B) for those with virgin tv thing, when on the tv guide or v+ recorded menu there is like a virgin type advert which says about all the great things virgin offer, one is that they have dragons den and wife swap to watch whenever i want, only problem is they dont say where i can watch it and i have searched everywhere and found nothing.

So can anyone tell me where i can find these programs they keep advertising they have?

2. They are advertising teleport. Go to the main menu on your stb and it should be there providing you are a full digital cable viewer and not using the old analogue service

whats my stb? im a full digital i would have thought as i got the v+ box that records th programs.

Set top box. V+ thingy.

stb is set top box, ie your v+ box. Teleport is virgin's on demand service.

Now there is the version where you pay for films etc, there is also the option available from your main menu that catalogues select tv shows for the past week or so. I'm working away at the moment, but to access it you need to click the main menu button on the remote and before you hit the tv listing page, there is a box with it in.

edit: You are after the "on demand" service rather than teleport. Teleport is the old name for it when the company was still Telewest.

Im on virgin as well just been home for lunch and my downloads have been running happily all morning so looks like its been fine.

Seems very up and down today, MSN keep disconnecting and some webpages randomly won't connect and take a couple of retries.

Sounds like DNS problems if it's certain webpages that won't lod. I can post the ones I'm using if you guys want to try it?

sorry im still a little lost.

off the top of my head i have checked, tv choice, catch up tv, on demand, all with nothing there that virgin are advertising all the time.

wondering is it that they are advertising something that currently isn't on tv, butif it was they'd have it ion things like catch up tv? afaik there is no dragons den or wife swap on any channel atm, though would love it if someone proved me wrong
