Hi all,
Having recently had my virgin installed i need to think of a way to run the cables along the skirting board/floor so that they are out of the way. There are 2 cables to run along the floor (Fibre internet & fibre tv) so i wonder how all you guys hide your cabling?

I have managed to find this some self adhesive clamps but they dont seem big enough to hold the 2 virgin cables :(

Use 2 clamps, slightly offset. Should keep the cables fairly close together and neat.

Under the floorboards? Outside the building? Across the top of the skirting boards? Mine is underneath the carpet inbetween the carpet gripper and the wall.

Could you not use one cable and then a splitter?
If there are two cables running along side each other, why have they been split before they are at their correct place?

Think this pedanticness as run its course tbh.

It's a marketing term abused by companies and as a result people such as the OP genuinely believe they have a pure fibre service.

I'm going going to start calling my P4 a Core i7. There's a major difference between the two.

I had dealings with a VM salesman over the phone that insisted that when i upgraded form 30 to 50 mbit i would have to have new FIBRE OPTIC cables run into my house alongside my old coax.... I got him to repeat it to me then I started laughing. For £5 a month extra i said i would welcome FTTP. VM Guy didnt have a clue... I think its shocking how poorly trained their staff are and utterly misleading the public.
