Virgin Virus Safe

Hello All,

I've just logged onto my Virgin account for the first time in ages and been asked to setup "Virus Safe", looks like this will pre-filter web pages Virgin deem unsafe, should I leave this on, or am i better keeping it off and using my common sense?

Use common sense, its poor and a pain the ass.

It sounds OK, as long as it doesn't run on your system and only blocks malicious addresses.

Always prefer to filter my own not rely on what some `mumsnet/nanny`want me to see/not see
just my 2p worth

We're talking malicious domains here, not porn or file sharing. Most browsers have been doing something very similar for years.
