Virgin Windows 7 and Randomness.

Hi I am running windows 7 and just (month) got 50 mb, we had 20mb and all was fine, then when the 50mb got connected installed windows 7. I have two problems, one I think is more solvable on my end than the other.

1: I turn my pc on and it tries to connect to the network but it doesnt and get the little triangle in my network box, I disable and re-enable the adapter and then it works.

2: Virgin cuts out (maybe once every one or two days) requiring either a full restart of the virgin box or a DCHP release then renew. Think this is fairly common and proberbly nothing I can do appart from call virgin, what fun that will be :/

Any help would be nice.

1 - Wired or wireless, if the latter it could possibly be a driver issue for your adapter.

2 - Phone VM, the 50Mbit service has a dedicated support number as although I've had a couple of disconnects this week it generally should be pretty solid, and anything else would indicate a possible issue with your service.

Wired, would never use wireless in a millon for my main rig.
