Been reading a little about this and wondered, is it easy to setup and does it provide any discernible benefit when gaming?

I had it running on my Z68 board (required a cheeky hack) and it gave outstanding bench results...That was it though and in game, it made all games feel like a stuttering mess.

It may have improved and the idea of it is a very good idea. Easy to install and uninstall, so give it a go :)

I take it it only needed a hack to work on z68? May give it a blast, god loves a tryer and all that.:)

Yes Setter. Z77 is where it will work but make sure you download it from your MOBO vendors site.

I would download the bottom one first as I think the other link is just an automatic updater? Not 100% on that though.

What exactly is it? I've just had a look and it looks like that lucid technology moved entirely to software.

Does it replace "crossfire" or "SLi"? Or is it for integrated/discrete GPU setups?

I had problems getting the profiles set up properly, and had to faff around with monitor calibration in Windows to get the colours right. Once for the Intel GPU and again for the NVidia GPU.

It's a nice idea in principle, but I think it's let down by the software still.

works like a charm for me.
the virtual v-sync got rid of any tearing I was getting in BF3 and can give a little boost to most games too.

If you have a motherboard and CPU that are compatible may as well get an extra free performance boost.

You will need to enable onboard GPU in bios for it to install

Installed it, but it's causing a few issues when trying to launch bf3, firefox refuses to open the battlelog page and crashes.

Installed the latest version from that link Cane, ill try it now. Cheers.

Still getting the same black screen issue when clicking the icon to join a game in bf3.

never had that issue.
I use chrome though so could be that ?

log out and in of battlelog might help too (sounds stupid but has helped me before)

Tried logging out and back into bl and origin, and used internet explorer. Still the same problem. Disable virtu and i can get into a game no problem on either browser.

works great for me,after i worked out where to stick my monitor cable, still not sure i got it set up right, but i got no tearing, the games i play run smooth, but i seem to loose about 3-5 fps.i even got a game working that wasnt on the list

Ive given up on it tbh, it's a nice idea in theory. But from scouring the web it seems a bit buggy. Tbf though, im getting decent enough framerates in game anyway from the gtx 670.
