Virtua Tennis 3 for PC - help with controls!

It sys on the website that there's a wealth of shots available but all I can do is lob, top spin, or slice. How do I master the variations and what combination of buttons will allow me to do this?

Some tips please! The website is useless!

play world tour mode and it will run you through all the shots. But really there are'nt that many. I mean you have, topspin, slice, drop, lob and volley variations. I think most other shots depend on where the ball is.

VT3 is pretty much an arcade game, and so only uses the three buttons, the only other real shot is the drop shot which is slice then press back, or something like that. All the other shots depend on when you press the button, where you are in the court, and where the ball is relative to you.

the latest patch allows you to use the controller in the main menus as well.

quite how sumo forgot to implement this on the initial release is beyond me.
