Ahh, see, annoyingly, IE9 broke on a machine at work. We uninstalled it but it doesn't revert back to IE8. Does this mean I'm doomed for a reinstall of W7?

you MIGHT be able to go back to 7 if you can uninstall SP3 first. good luck lol
