virtual box and USB

Hi guys i'm using virtual box as suggested by few members, its a good piece of kit. Got XP pro installed but no usb device show, i even setup filters and still no joy.

any ideas how to get usb working? i'm using Vista 32bit

i have virtualbox installed and it didn't work for me at first either. so i read the manual...

after adding the filter, you need to unplug the device and then plug it in again. i've tested myself and it does work. you can see my usb bluetooth adapter in my virtual machine...

thank you mate it worked, i read the manual but must have missed the bit that said i needed to take the device out and put it in a again,

hey can i ask u 1 more thing, if i want to copy files over to guest OS do i setup a network and do file sharing or is there a another way?
