Virtual Box+ Viruses

Hi there,

I have a virus infected PC, in theory, if I loaded up virtualbox and put a version of linux on it. The viruses would no affect it right?

The infected windows would still be running in the background, so wouldnt be wise.
However you can boot a livecd to use your pc, for recovery etc
Ubuntu's is pretty feature rich and can be used quite easily
