The latest update to Virtual Desktop 1.25.7 has many improvements, but one of the downsides is a DRM check meaning that you have to be connected to the internet to use it. This is a bit of a downer as I do a good bit of VR outside for large roomscale effect. Probably not going to upgrade to the latest version despite the bump in performance.

• Significant performance improvements with PCVR games (up to 20% depending on the game)
• Reduced micro-stutters (orange bars) with SteamVR games
• Added non-US keyboard layouts (UK, German, French, Canadian French)
• Added support for DualShock 4 controller and ability to choose the type of emulated gamepad
• Fixed latency with input when resuming a session
• Fixed framerate of VR games while not wearing headset or when disconnected
• Fixed connectivity issue with Spectrum users
• Fixed game compatibility with: X-Plane 11, Among Us VR, Vail, Ghosts of Tabor, Synth Riders (Rift store)


Not all games will work, please check the compatibility list.

Additional Notes
You can launch games that aren't part of your Oculus or Steam library by right-clicking the Streamer icon, selecting "Launch Game..." and locating the executable. Alternatively, you can inject games through a batch file (.bat) by using: VirtualDesktop.Streamer.exe "[ExecutablePath]"
