Thought id create a VD thread (we have one for Q2 only)


my VD , has starting to ask if i want to load it, every time my PC starts, yes it loads with windows but it never used to ask me, used to load on its own

Although it doesn't make a difference (as far as i'm aware)
but i have this profile error saying my network is public

i'm going to assume that's most peoples computers are connected to the internet without changing settings and going "private" I've certainly never changed this in my life

Virtual Desktop just doesn't give me a decent enough image quality for VR games compared to Airlink for me. For some people it works better, but

i think thats an NVIDIA thing

Nvidia = Airlink
AMD = VD

so another words, as i trust my own network, i should have said Yes, when i installed windows and set up my network connection

Think there's another game you need to load steam vr first

Can't remember what, but I was testing my new pc out, and that was the only way it would work

I've gone from AMD to Nvidia
i still use VD (pico 4)
love VD, running it on "godlike" through VD is really good

just been playing Project Cars 2 through VD on Godlike
the game, I've maxxed out on everything, rain on , shadows Full etc etc

never tried VD wired

but i don't think VD offers headlock mode

i will check the HMD side

but googling seems to suggest yes

Head Lock option as Default :: Virtual Desktop General Discussions

I just installed Virtual Desktop and haven't had too much time to explore all it's features yet but I was wondering if I can set Virtual Desktop to launch in Head Lock mode as a default? I know why we wouldn't want it to save this setting automatically, but can we force it to launch that way...
