Virtual Dub ?

Hi All I have been looking at the software program 'Virtual Dub' but i,m not sure what it can do ? can it convert a AVI file to DVD ,if so how do u do this ? sorry if i sound thick,but i,m alittle confused

Don't think so. Can do the other way round, but not on its own. Need other tools/codecs/etc.

winavi or convertxtodvd can do it for you though
