Finishing 1st place in a race on Live for Speed.

I can't race for real, but racing other people online brings a bit of satisfaction.

Caffeine, i find that always helps! :D But, as for games, being the last person alive in CS:S Zombie Mod always makes me laugh. It's no fun if i survive until the end though unless there's zombies all around me and the timer runs out.

Definately CSS Zombie mod. Very exciting with 4-5 zombies chasing you as your running backwards blasting them with the shotty. Its a challenge to see how long you can last or until some mates drop a grenade amongst them to help out.

I also find knife sprees in BF2142 great fun. I once knifed 2 guys at point blank and shot another 3 in extremely short succession, very exciting.

Definately! You should join me on the UV server: 74.52.192.19:27015. Name is same as one on forum. If your latency is bad, in console type: cl_cmdrate 4

I find that helps as the server's hosted in Houston. I don't lag or lag the server, it's just my latency that's bad. If you have above 300 Latency, it's an autokick.

But what i find, is that when your mates throw a nade, they either destroy barricades, or the zombies get naded into you and you get turned.

Indeed :)

Although sometimes it can be as rewarding, if not more, when you get a good placed finish ahead of some known faster drivers, or in a car which is harder to use or slower than the rest of the field.

I spent one race sandwiched between 2 known 'alien' drivers, couldn't really try any moves on the one in front due to defending from the guy behind. Top fun though, sweating buckets by the end.

It was the STCC race at Aston Cadet if you're interested, video available at www.simtouringcarcup.com :)

Biggest buzz I have had is from some of the racing in GTLegends back when I used to race a lot.
One slight little mistake would end a race, and one slight mistake from someone near you on track could end your race, so it could be seriously nerve racking!
Great feeling to even finish a race at times! Let alone win against a really fast driver. (some of you other sim racers may have raced Ryan Foss ;))
Think I've only beaten him fairly (ie removing out races with wreckers) the once. lol

Highest I've ever been from a game is when I won the RBR-Online Richard Burns memorial rally - obviously a great race, my first ever rally win, but being in the Impreza '01 to commemorate Burns' WRC victory year made it feel very special. But finishing a stage, let alone a rally, when competing online can't fail to give you quite a buzz.

Nothing has ever beaten the first competitive match of the Quake clan I founded, The Quake Wizzzards.
UKQFFL, 4 teams of 4, half an hour. We came second behind forbidden angels (i think that was their name), one of the best clans in the UK at the time!

Playing as 'The Hidden' on the HL2 mod and watching the IRIS members panic as they suddenly realise that it's the last second of their life.

That's a good buzz.

Was constantly like this when I played SWG.

Halo fests, running back with the flag hearing your mates in the next room squeal :D

Interesting - what was your nick?
I knew a few WZ players like Nasher and I may be wrong but I think my first ever UKCL cup (?) match in early '99 may have been against them. I also played with some of the FA guys in Denial (FA/SAS merger) for a few years.

Likewise my biggest buzzes came from QW. Beating 4K on DM3 in the UKCL with SF would rank pretty highly for the tension, and also beating Slackers (one of the top clans of the modern QW era) in NQR4 with Hyphen ranks pretty highly.

But even ignoring the competitive aspect, in the early days just hopping on an FFA server and going on rampaging quad runs used to literally leave me dripping with sweat sometimes. I don't think I'll ever recapture that vibe in another game.

You aint had a gaming buzz until you done PvP in a MMO such as UO ;)
PVP. If i ever manage to get away from Defias Cutpurse in the WoW trial, then i'd give it a try. But so far i've been killed about 10 times and i've lost my shield and sword. I don't think WoW is for me. One of the guards did kill "it" for me once though, that was funny to watch it chase after me and then get taken down with one kill.

I think i'll delete the game now. :o

Not gotten a decent buzz off a game for a while now. Before it used to be Ravenshield, i absolutely loved clearing out the opposite team in less than a minute or taking out 5 other ppl when im the only one on my team left. That game had tactics and required skill. I loved it, just wish there was another one like it :(

BF2 chopper flying! Doing ridiculous manuveres to evade tv missles, then taking down the offending tv missle whore with just your rockets just to see his utter fustration manifest itself on screen. :D That and also managing to take down a J-10 whore with a tv missle are amazing highs.
