Hi be for i do get another pc i want to see if i can oc this pc first. I dont no much about oc but in my bios i have set my OC mode option to IOT. Intelligent overclocking mode. I will give you the full spec to my PC which is.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Processor: Intel core quad cpu q6600 @2.40ghz 2.40ghz

Motherboard : Asrok p43de

Installed memory (RAM): 4.00GB (DDR2)

OS: Windows 7 pro 64bit

Graphic card: XFX 5770

----------------------------------------------------------------

If you click on start menu and right click on Computer the system page opens with the score rating and other stuff. If you click Advanced system settings the system properties diolog box comes up. In the advance tab under performance if you click settings the performance option diolog box comes up. If you go into Advanced under virtual memory it says. A paging file is an area on the hard disk that windows uses as if it were RAM. My total paging file size for all drives is 4095 MB. If i go into the change tab it comes up with.

Total paging file size for all drives.
Minimum allowed: 16MB
Recommended 6142MB
Currently allocated 4095MB

Could i change this to the recommended size of 6142 and would that make my pc faster?.

Thanks again.

errr, you are talking about two different things...

1) YES overclock that Q6600, it is a great chip to overclock and you can get some very decent results

2) leave the paging file alone, that is small fry compared to overclocking your cpu
