well ive downloaded VMware-server-1.0.0-28343.tar.gz

I cant find anything in the documentation online or in the zip file that tells me how to actually install the VMware program :confused:

so can u run say win 95 within win XP for emulation type properties with this? ie to run win 95/98 only games etc

No, it's great for running the operating system generally and for applications, but games are a big no no.
