Hi all,
I'm having problems with Virtual PC. I downloaded it from MS now that it is free, and have installed Ubuntu Linux 5.10 onto it. It boots fine, and I get the appropriate screen until it gets to the login screen for Ubuntu. At this point, the screen seems to get 5-6 times wider that it should. This means that the screen is so stretched/distorted that I can't use it.
Ubuntu is set to 800x600, and i'm running XP Pro at 1280x1024. Any ideas what could be causing it to go mental when it hits the login screen? Alternatively, do you know of any free/open source virtualisation software I can use to run Linux in Windows?
Matt
