Okay I need my guest VM machine to see the host SCSI tape drive how do I do this? I see something about ISCSI but not sure how to set it up?

Nothing I'm trying to do a restore but its too slow via networking.

This is for DR testing and the Host machine has server 2003 and Backup 11d

I'm using the Backup execs IDR but via networking is restoring about 90mb/min so I need the guest OS to see the host's tape drive.

I need that or some how to speed up the networking from Guest to Host - I'm using a gigabit network card but its running in 10MB it seems!

No OS on there yet I'm using IDR to restore it - It detects a intel GB network card though!

Backup Execs IDR is a load of *****!

Right whats the best way to get 6 production into VM state for DR reasons?

Nope you need some other software but havent got it as of yet!
