Virtualisation In Vista Home Premium

Hi Guys,

I'm having some trouble installing any virtualisation software on my pc. I have tried MS Virtual PC and Sun Virtual Box and neither of them complete the installation. Could this be because I have vista home premium and you can't use virtualisation stuff in it, i remember reading somewhere you couldnt use virtualisation stuff on XP Home.

there should be no problems using either of those programs in any version of windows.

you'll need to provide more details on the errors you're getting.

edit: btw, ms virtual pc stinks. stick with virtual box if you can.

Yeah I was going to use virtual box becuase I love seamless mode, the exact problem is, oh wait just tried installing the new version and it worked!!!, Only been waiting for about a year for that. Thanks for the help though!

I have vmware server installed on Vista Ulimate 64 and it is fine (and free).

I've had problems installing MS VPC on Vista HP before, came up with errors but then worked anyway.

Virtual boxs is the way forward!
