Hi All

I have one machine running XP Home, one running Vista Business, but the Vista one did a Windows update recently and then wouldn't turn back on, so I want to investigate virtualization software so I can avoid this problem in future.

Anyone got any recommendations for virtualization software that will run on Windows? I've looked at VM Ware. Is there anything out there that's free and does a good job? Otherwise, what's worth paying for?

Thanks

VMWare is worth paying for. Put simply it's the best out there in the market. You can run your own domain through VMWare easily.

VMWare Workstation would do what you wanted easily. You can install nigh on every O/S there is out there. If you have a 64-bit O/S then you can install both 64-bit and 32-bit Operating Systems if you have 32-bit then you are limited to 32-bit only.
