Virtualizing My Old PC

I've not really played about much with VM's, i intend to use VirtualBox for running some VM's in the future but i have a new pc, i'd like to create an image of my old pc and have it on the new one as a VM.

So can anyone explain what will be the easiest and quickest way to do this?

there is an unofficial software that let you convert physical disc to virtualbox VM somewhere in virtualbox forums. i cant remember what it's called
