My mum clicked a link in msn that she thought was from my sister who regularly sends her pictures and what not through msn. It turned out to be the win32:TratBHO[Trj] virus 
everything I have done has not gotten rid of it. I turned off system restore, booted into safe mode, ran avast and adaware and assumed that it was fixed.
On turning on the pc this morning (xp home) my mum has told me that avast has the virus again
Any ideas on how to get rid of it, short of wiping the machine and starting again?
Had a quick look round the net and there are a few different ways mentioned, but all involve programs I have never heard of before.
