noticed something else. looks like ssd's slow down with age. restoring the image must have refreshed the cells since drive benches much faster now.

Yeah that's possible
Since it must perform some sort
Of deletion or format
Before restoring the image

Should say
Ventoy also supports much more
File formats than isos
Vhd,and a load of others
Just i stuck with only using isos

Yes a local image restore should be faster
Never tried over network
But they do also have a tool called iventoy
Not sure if it can do more
Than just network install of OS
As never tried it

Ventoy is right at the top of
My must have free software list
It's something I really wouldn't be

No it honestly doesn't
The hypervisor thing is a recent development
Far cry 6 is about four years old
Yes it has denuvo which protected it
For about 8 months
Pretty easy to confirm using Google

I would expect a company to supply the laptop if its for work, I would not want to be using my own desktop PC for work due to the amount of crap our IT installs on it.

software to block sites not on their whitelist, Software needed for work, VPN software to be able to access internal sites etc.

Our IT would be on to me like there is no tomorrow if there was a virus found on the laptop or detected by defender.

Yea I can imagine how that's gonna work out if they dont out their generic image on it.
