now im not new to having viruses on my computers, only like twice since i was a kid(im 32) a virus has completely messed up my computer making it useless, most have been easy with a reinstall or removal software, however i started having some browser related issues since a few days agp, which has likely come from old or recent downloaded games/etc that i already had installed or new content, i also watch movies online, but never have problems from same site on ipad....

the issue im having is redirections even when i click on this site, luckily i malwarebytes blocking them, but sometimes i have to try again for whatever website, now i tried the chrome tool thing, but that did nothing, avg, malwarebytes and adwarecleaner found and fixed, but even after reinstalling chrome the issue still arises, now i dont know if thats because i gone back on same sites lol or just stuck with chrome, but nothing funny as i can tell from my process tree and the virus software coming up zero results.

weevah2.top was one of them, other ones not quite as frequent to remember.

the rest of my system is fine, had to remove 3d screensavers i downloaded as they were causing performance issues and can download/install stuff just fine, just seems to be browser related, does anyone have any suggestions for this that isnt a reinstall of windows as i know i shouldnt need that as it only happens on browser.

Did you clear the leftover Chrome data in C:\Users\*name*\AppData\Local\Google after uninstalling it and before installing the fresh copy?

Is your DNS also on default or set to something else?

Lay off the porn sites

while a funny comment is always welcome, i have an annoying issue and nothing porn related is involved, dont need to explain, but no porn related unless its a pop up from a movie site/game site or car site or just some general software download has been used on this computer, dont need to riddle my computer with porn lol.

i only uninstalled via the usual way, ive also used the reset option in the chrome settings(had syncing issues for behind the reason of using this option), i only installed it fresh as it seems some programs on my other 2 drives didnt copy well before i reset my boot drive prior to the one im using now, so having to download/install again, i will look in my folder and delete all chrome related and chrome itself as suggested cheers.

adware came up clear, chrome tool came up clear, no viruses of any kind being detected on my computer, so likely something left over then.
